M201 data is normally only found on
the dashboard data plates. The photos show an
unusual example where there are vinyl vehicle
data labels on either side of the body. On the
left, it is just above the step in line with the
end of the axe handle. On the right
(unfortunately painted over) also above the step
but higher as shown. These appear to have been
made from a universal kit as the numbers and
letters have been stuck on by hand. This sticker
system is common for commercial vehicles in
France and is obligatory for vehicles over 3,5
tonnes. PV is poids à vide (empty), PTC is poids
total en charge (with oil and fuel), PTR is poids
total roulant (with driver and passengers).
